Urban – Late 18th Century German:

urban.jpgMade in Mittenwald this violin came to the United States where it was repaired by well-known Czech maker Joseph Urban in San Francisco in 1856. With an even-grained spruce top and medium-flamed maple back and ribs the violin’s sound is warm compelling, flexible and communicative.
