Heather Weeks-Wesnofske, violist, is a native of Buffalo, New York.  She received her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College and her graduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook.  She is currently the Orchestra Director at Centereach High School where her Chamber Orchestra consistently earns the rating of  “Gold with Distinction” at the NYSSMA Major Organization Festival.

Mrs. Wesnofske is a former Vice-President and chairperson of the Long Island String Festival Association (LISFA), has been the chairperson for the SCMEA Division II East Orchestra and conductor of the SCMEA Division I East Festival Orchestra, performs with the Sound Symphony Orchestra, the Chameleon String Quartet, and has appeared on the Lincoln Center stage with the Ithaca College Symphonic Orchestra and the Five Towns College Orchestra.  She also maintains a busy private teaching studio for Violin and Viola.
